I still clearly remember the day that I fell in love with Lee Jong Suk (이종석). It was when I watched “W” and he played the lead role as Kang Chul. I got hooked by the plot of that series because it’s all about a webtoon character that became a reality and since then I never stop watching K-dramas of him. For me up until now he’s my number 1 OPPA!
Last December 2017, I spent Christmas in Korea, of course I went to MBC World to see the wall of Kang Chul that I’ve been dying to see for God knows how many months. Then there’s a newly opened cafe of Jong Suk in Gangnam, so why not give it a try, right?!

Around June of this year, it was announced that Lee Jong Suk will have a fan meeting before his military enlistment next year. Got excited because I was ready to go to Korea for his Pit-a-pat fan meeting. I even got reservations for the hotel, but unfortunately when ticket selling date came I failed to secure a ticket because they didn’t transact it on my card. I was so devastated. After 3 days of grieving, a friend of mine told me that he might come here in the Philippines. I was so ecstatic. A month later, Pulp announced that he will go to the Philippines on November. I got a little sad again because I have scheduled flights on November. Fast forward to ticket selling date, I was eager to book a ticket in spite of the flights that I might have. I was really nervous because it got sold out (Fanatics, Photo Op Royalty, and Hi Touch Royalty) in 5 minutes. But voila, I got a Hi Touch ticket! Luckily, the scheduled trip on November didn’t push thru and it was moved to a later date. I was so happy, extremely happy.
Funny how the world works, maybe I was meant to see Lee Jong Suk before his enlistment, and before I leave the country for good 🙂
Days before the fanmeet, they announced that only the Photo Op Royalties and Hi Touch Royalties had the chance to give gifts. I couldn’t think of a better gift but this one, a very pinoy one!
- A rattan window bag, personalized Philippine flag sticker, a card with all my feels in it, a Manila postcard, and a Christmas tea set figures.
Just last Sunday, 18th of November 2018, Jong Suk finally visited the Philippines. It was his first fan meeting in Manila and he was very excited about it. It also marks the end of his fanmeeting before enlistment.
(very excited to see him! waaaaaaa)(also, finally I met Christelle, a longtime friend of mine in Facebook who loves Jong Suk toooo)(look at that crowd!)
(reaally enjoyed the fanmeet with a fellow Jong suk fannnn! ano next natin?)
Some of the clips I recorded:
Lee Jong Suk is so handsome, humble, funny and such a hottie! I WAS SO KILIG TO SEE HIM IN PERSON, I EVEN GOT THE CHANCE TO HOLD HIS HANDDDDDD! IT WAS SUCH A DREAM COME TRUE. A NIGHT I WON’T FORGET! I hope to see him again after his enlistment. Til’ then, I’ll be waiting for you Oppa!
